Our e-service on the website verksamt.se (in Swedish only)

In the following we describe accessibility problems that you may encounter in our service at verksamt.se. You will also find information here about how to contact us to report deficiencies.

Our aim is that our service should be perceivable, operable, and understandable for all users, regardless of ability or the use of assistive technology. Our minimum goal is to provide at least basic accessibility by conforming to WCAG 2.1, level AA.

Deficiencies

This service has been developed over a long period of time. It is complex, in part because the laws that regulate the business are complex.

We are aware that we have not succeeded in conforming to all success criteria in WCAG. We plan to have rectified all deficiencies by 2020, at the latest.

If you have mobility impairments

  • Parts of the service can be difficult to use without a mouse.
  • Page elements do not indicate keyboard focus clearly enough.
  • If you navigate by keyboard, the content order will not always appear logical.
  • Labels are not always associated with their fields, which means that you may not be able to toggle a checkbox by clicking on its label.
  • The behaviour sometimes deviates from the expected browser behaviour; for instance, the contents of the page can change when you toggle a checkbox.
  • If you need time to fill in information, you may exceed a time limit and risk losing what you have typed in.

If you have impaired colour-vision

  • In some places the service conveys information only by changes in text colour.

If you have visual impairments

  • The service does not expose enough information to assistive technology, for example, screen readers, which makes it difficult to use.
  • Parts of the service can be difficult to use without a mouse.
  • The page content does not always appear in a logical order.
  • The behaviour sometimes deviates from the expected browser behaviour; for instance, the contents of the page can change when you toggle a checkbox.
  • There are images that convey information but lack text alternatives.
  • There are videos that lack time-independent alternatives and audio descriptions.
  • Labels are not always associated with their fields.
  • The layout does not adapt well enough to the viewport, making the service difficult to use with magnifying aids.
  • There is text in some places that does not provide sufficient contrast against the background.

If you have cognitive impairments

  • If you need time to read or fill in information, you may exceed a time limit and risk losing what you have typed in.
  • Error messages are generally displayed only at the top of the page, not together with the invalid field.
