Some of our most common certificates are available in English, such as registration certificates for all company and association forms.
Our certificates always contain:
- Bolagsverket's official seal
- Bolagsverket's official stamp
- an administrator's signature.
Please note that this applies to printed certificates only. E-certificates ordered in the Find company information e-service do not contain a seal, stamp and signature.
We do not translate the company's business activities into English.
If you need to have an apostille stamp on a document, contact a notary public.
An apostille stamp verifies that a signature, seal or stamp on a Swedish document is genuine. However, it does not verify that the information in the document is correct.
Legalisation of documents
If you need to legalise a document, contact the Legalisation Office at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
Legalisation means that the Legalisation Office at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs verifies that a signature and a seal or stamp on a Swedish document is genuine.
