Limited company
A limited company is a legal entity that can enter into agreements, employ staff and own property. A limited company becomes a legal entity when it is registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office. Once the registration is complete, it is also assigned a registration number.

Sole trader
A sole trader is a form of business that may suit you if you are starting a small business on your own.

Beneficial ownership register
The majority of Swedish companies, associations and legal entities must register beneficial ownership information with Bolagsverket. Newly registered companies and associations must register beneficial ownership information within four weeks from their registration date.
